ST. LOUIS / November 01, 2016 – Jet Aviation’s flagship facility in St. Louis leads the industry in the installation of Venue cabin-management systems, manufacturer Rockwell Collins announced at a special event honoring the facility’s performance.
Rockwell Collins presented Jet Aviation’s MRO and Completions facility in St. Louis with a crystal award as a “superior performing authorized dealer” with more than 25 Venue installations so far, and also brought in food trucks to provide lunch for the entire workforce of more than 600 at the facility.
“We couldn’t be more proud of our record on Venue installations and of our long-standing relationship with Rockwell Collins that goes back more than 45 years,” said Chuck Krugh, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation St. Louis. “We have worked together to provide the best aviation products and the best aviation services to our customers. And Rockwell Collins bringing in lunch for all of our people was an extremely gracious and much-appreciated way to recognize the entire team at Jet Aviation St. Louis for what Rockwell Collins says is more Venue installations than any other dealer site globally.”

The industry’s first installation of a FANS upgrade

Blake Hogge, senior manager, Avionics Sales at Jet Aviation St. Louis, said his team has worked closely with Rockwell Collins to develop the Venue system and the STC for FANS so both companies can better serve their aviation customers. His team already is working with Rockwell Collins to develop the next-generation Venue system.
Rockwell Collins said Venue is the first complete, high-definition cabin-management system that upgrades and replaces the Cabin Electronic System with the features and functionality of the most-advanced home entertainments systems and executive suites.
