Jet Aviation announces redelivery of ACJ330 and ACJ319 to Middle Eastern customer

GENEVA / June 8, 2017 – Jet Aviation announces redelivery of VVIP Airbus ACJ330 and ACJ319 aircraft to a Middle Eastern customer.

Both aircraft were designed and completed in Basel, and are examples of the company’s commitment to exceptional design, impressive technological advances and efficient production. The ACJ319 was completed within a downtime of 10 months, and the ACJ330 in 14, both setting new benchmarks in the industry.

“We were delighted to be able to deliver these aircraft in October 2016 and February 2017, bringing our total collaboration with the customer to three aircraft,” said Joshua Florio, project manager, Jet Aviation Completions. “The customer engaged Jet Aviation Completions in Basel due to our reputation for superior process and techniques from design to delivery. This, combined with the speed with which the team brought together these beautiful aircraft, is a real testament to both the quality and efficiency of Jet Aviation Completions.”

In keeping with Jet Aviation’s industry leading weight management processes, the aircraft were significantly lighter than required by the customer, despite the use of a selection of high-end finishes and custom designs.

The ACJ330 has an exceptionally long range, fulfilling the brief for an aircraft able to fly from Riyadh to Los Angeles. It also demonstrates incredible acoustic performance, with in-flight dBSIL readings as low as the mid-40s. Jet Aviation worked closely with Gulfstream to develop breakthrough technology that allows extremely accurate sound prediction and targeted sound proofing.

The interior design was influenced by traditional Arabic motifs and color palettes, but with a decidedly contemporary twist. Fine materials such as silk wall coverings, gold plating, smoked oak, Macassar and Zebrano woods, and mother of pearl add a luxurious, bespoke finish, with incredible attention to both quality and custom detail — for example, starlight ceilings designed to reflect the position of the constellations as seen above Riyadh during the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932.

The ACJ330 features a master suite with office, guest suite, VVIP seating areas, guest seating in the aft, and an additional 10 VIP ‘mini-suites’. These mini-suites, designed and developed exclusively by Jet Aviation, were an innovative way to integrate additional VIP accommodation into the aircraft layout. Sliding doors provide complete privacy for each passenger, while three different seat settings (from upright to fully horizontal) ensure comfort throughout a long or short haul flight.

The ACJ319 was designed to be more flexible, with distinct cabin zones to accommodate alternative numbers of passengers. Comprising a majlis area for eight passengers, spacious guest lavatory, mid bedroom with large ensuite bathroom and additional, flexible format seating for guests in the aft, the interior was designed to offer extremely comfortable accommodation in a variety of guises.
