Several new maintenance contracts awarded to AMAC Aerospace

 Euroairport, December 3, 2019 – AMAC Aerospace is pleased to announce to have been awarded with several new maintenance projects in Basel, Switzerland. On a privately-owned Airbus A319 and a Boeing B737, an ADSB-Out and a FANS System will be installed. A Bombardier Global 5000 will undergo a comprehensive cabin refurbishment. 

Several Boeing aircrafts are undergoing base maintenance checks

 AMAC Aerospace signed a new contract for a privately-owned Boeing B737. The B737 will arrive at AMAC in the next few weeks and will undergo a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) on short notice. An already existing customer selected AMAC again to carry out a base maintenance check on its privately-owned Boeing B737. A further privately-owned Boeing B737 aircraft will come to Basel to undergo an A1 and B1 due maintenance. 

A privately-owned Boeing B737 will arrive in Basel for a C3 Check in February 2020. AMAC will carry out a landing gear overhaul, install an ADSB-Out (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast), a FANS system and undergo a partial cabin refurbishment. 

Comprehensive cabin work on two Bombardier aircrafts in Basel, Switzerland 

After carrying out a major maintenance input in October on a Bombardier Global 5000, a customer was very satisfied with AMAC’s work and decided to take the aircraft back to AMAC to undergo a cabin refurbishment. Besides the base maintenance, a privately-owned Bombardier Global 6000 will carry out a cabin interior work at AMAC’s hangar in Basel, Switzerland. 

Three new projects on Airbus A319 

A contract for a 6 and 18 month due maintenance on an Airbus A319 has been signed and AMAC will welcome the privately-owned aircraft by the end of 2019. AMAC Aerospace is looking forward to welcoming a privately-owned Airbus A319 at the beginning of 2020. With a developed STC, AMAC will install a KA-Band system on the A319. This STC has already been used for many clients and will be re-usable for other Airbus A319 customers. A privately-owned Airbus A319 will undergo a 1A, 2A, 1C Check. In conjunction AMAC’s skilled technicians will carry out an ADSB-Out and a FANS installation.
